A Motor Accident Claims Tribunal right here has ordered an insurance coverage firm to pay ₹96.17 lakh to the spouse of a Delhi Police ASI who was killed in a highway accident in 2018.

Mr. Malhotra mentioned that the insurance coverage firm has not proven any proof to show that the sufferer was driving in a rash and negligent method. “The allegations levelled within the written assertion, howsoever sturdy they might be, can not happen of proof… Because the insurance coverage firm has no statutory defence, it’s liable to pay compensation to the petitioners,” he mentioned.
