$1 million in medicine seized, three arrested in Laval after Four-month investigation

Laval police on Wednesday introduced that they had made three arrests and seized greater than $1 million in medicine within the wake of a four-month investigation that focused a drug ring believed accountable for delivering massive portions of its merchandise to legal organizations.

Operation Doute started in September 2020 and resulted in raids being carried out Dec. 15 in Laval and the Laurentians. A second collection of raids have been executed on Jan. 5 in Laval and in Notre-Dame-des-Prairies within the Lanaudière area.

Over the course of the raids police arrested three suspects, two of whom have appeared in courtroom on drug and weapons fees whereas the third will seem in courtroom in February.

Laval police, supported by the Sûreté du Québec, seized two pistols, $200,000 in money, six kilograms of cocaine, three.5 kilograms of cannabis, 36 kilograms of hashish, 16,000 models of methamphetamine and 64 hashish crops.
