9 years: Stiff sentence for man who robbed Purple Line passenger (whereas on bail for battering a cop)

A person who battered a cop at a downtown L station in Could, received out on recognizance bond, and then robbed a woman on the Purple Line three weeks later has been sentenced to 9 years in jail.
