The Montreal Alouettes introduced on Tuesday that the CFL membership has signed defensive-back Ryan Carter and former Carolina Panthers running-back Cameron Artis-Payne.

Carter, 26, a 5-foot-9, 189-pound native of Grayson, Ga., made 22 tackles and knocked down two passes in 14 video games with the Alouettes in 2019. He participated within the 2018 Buffalo Payments coaching camp.
