Murder detectives have recognized a 25-year-old man who was stabbed to loss of life in a Scarborough house tower on Wednesday night.
At 5:09 p.m. Wednesday, police say they had been known as to a constructing at 2495 Eglinton Avenue East, between Midland Avenue and the Kennedy GO Station, for a report of a stabbing inside.
Inside, they positioned 25-year-old Mohamed Jeylani of Minnesota affected by life-threatening trauma.
He was rushed to hospital the place he was later pronounced lifeless.
The suspect is described as a Black male, standing 5’11”, aged 20-25 years, with a skinny construct. He was final seen carrying a darkish hooded high and light-weight colored pants.
He was final noticed close to Eglinton and Midland avenues two minutes after police had been first known as to the scene.
Detectives stated Wednesday the incident seems to be focused.
Jeylani’s loss of life is Toronto’s first murder of the 12 months, and the newest within the 12 months the town has ever recorded its first murder.
