Boy, 13, killed after being hit by prepare whereas strolling canine alongside tracks in Springwater, Ont.

TOWNSHIP OF SPRINGWATER – Provincial police say a 13-year-old boy has died after he was hit by a prepare whereas strolling his canine within the Township of Springwater, Ont.

Police say the incident occurred shortly after 9 a.m. on Sunday.

They are saying the boy was strolling his canine on the Canadian Pacific railway monitor when he was struck.

Investigators say he was pronounced lifeless on the scene.

Huronia West OPP, the OPP Forensic Identification Service and CP Rail police are all investigating.

The boy’s title has not been launched.
