At about four:32 AM on Sunday July 5, 2020, officers assigned to District B-Three (Mattapan) made an onsite firearm arrest following a site visitors cease within the space of 29 Stanton Road in Dorchester. The officers have been on patrol once they stopped a motorized vehicle for a site visitors infraction. Whereas chatting with the operator, later recognized as Marco Louis, 29, of Dorchester, it was decided that he didn’t possess a legitimate driver’s license. Upon ordering the operator to exit the car, the officers carried out a pat frisk which led to the restoration of a loaded 9mm Kel-Tec handgun with a defaced serial quantity from inside a black ‘fanny pack’ which was draped throughout the suspect’s chest. The suspect was then positioned in custody with out incident. Whereas making ready to tow the suspect motorized vehicle, officers noticed and recovered a big amount of unlawful fireworks from contained in the trunk.
The suspect can be arraigned in Dorchester District Courtroom on expenses of Illegal Possession of a Firearm, Illegal Possession of Ammunition, Carrying a Loaded Firearm, Possession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial Quantity and Working a Motor Automobile After Revocation or Suspension.
