At about 2:15 AM on Saturday January 25, 2020, officers assigned to District E-5 (West Roxbury) arrested two suspects on firearm and drug associated fees whereas investigating a motorized vehicle within the space of 175 West Boundary Street in West Roxbury. The officers had been on patrol once they noticed a motorized vehicle, occupied twice, parked in a clearly posted no parking lot. When the officers approached to talk with the occupants, they noticed a number of glass jars containing marijuana together with packaging supplies per the unlawful promoting of medicine in plain view on the rear seat. Officers then requested the operator, later recognized as Tupac Simmons 23, of Dorchester, and the passenger, later recognized as Alejandro Padilla, 19, of Hyde Park, to exit the car to which they each complied. The officers continued their investigation at which era they noticed and recovered a loaded .380 Smith and Wesson handgun with an obliterated serial quantity from contained in the car. Each suspects had been then positioned in custody with out incident.
The suspects will seem in West Roxbury District Courtroom on fees of Illegal Possession of a Firearm, Illegal Possession of Ammunition, Possession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial Quantity, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D Medication and Trespassing.
