Housebreaking alert issued for Wicker Park, Bucktown

A housebreaking group has damaged into at the least 4 properties since July four within the Wicker Park and Bucktown neighborhoods, in line with a neighborhood alert from Chicago police.

The 2-man group usually removes or breaks via window screens earlier than prying open or breaking the window to realize entry, police stated. One time, the lads pretended to be working throughout the road from a focused house whereas they waited for householders to depart.

Investigators have linked the burglars to break-ins on the

  • 2200 block of West Armitage at 10 a.m. on July four
  • 1700 block of West Wabansia at 5:20 p.m. on July 7
  • 1600 block of North Wolcott at three:05 p.m. on July 11
  • 1600 block of West North at 9 p.m. on July 11

In accordance with the alert, the burglars are two slender Black males between the ages of 17- and 25-years-old.
