Capitec Financial institution has attributed a glitch that led to double deductions from a few of its prospects’ accounts to a technical concern on Nedbank’s programs.
“The double deduction was brought on by a technical concern on Nedbank’s programs, which affected billing on their level of sale terminals. We take this very significantly and are working with them to rectify the error as rapidly as doable,” Capitec Financial institution stated in an announcement.
The financial institution stated it will comply with a typical business course of, which may take as much as 24 hours.
“We apologise to our shoppers for the inconvenience.”
