A 36-year-old girl has been sentenced to 9 years in jail for 233 counts of fraud, the Nationwide Prosecution Authority (NPA) mentioned on Tuesday.
Japanese Cape NPA spokesperson Anelisa Ngcakani mentioned the sentence was handed down within the Port Elizabeth specialised business crime court docket.
In line with Ngcakani, Bridgette Wait was employed at TAG Yachts SA in St Francis Bay between August 2014 and August 2017, and stole “simply over R3m” from the corporate.
