Gunmen carjack driver within the coronary heart of Boystown, police say

​Two males, each armed with handguns, carjacked a motorist within the coronary heart of Boystown early Saturday, police mentioned. No accidents had been reported and no arrests have been made.

The 45-year-old driver was sitting in his rental automobile on the 800 block of West Roscoe when one offender approached on either side of the car round four:25 a.m., based on a CPD spokesperson.

Each carjackers displayed handguns and ordered the person out of his automobile. They then sped away westbound on Roscoe along with his car, the spokesperson mentioned. The sufferer sought assist at a close-by comfort retailer.

Stolen was a black 2019 Dodge Challenger bearing a license plate that begins with AK846.
