Kars farmer rescued from beneath tractor

A Kars farmer was rescued from beneath his tractor Tuesday after it left the roadway and pinned him.

Ottawa Fireplace Companies obtained a report at four:11 p.m. man was trapped on Second Line Street South, outdoors the village of Kars.

Firefighters arrived on scene and located that the tractor had left the highway and are available to relaxation in an space of bush, about 15 metres away.

The tractor was in a precarious place and needed to be stabilized with cribbing earlier than firefighters may take away the trapped man with hydraulic instruments.

The 70-year-old farmer was freed inside 15 minutes and brought to hospital by Ottawa paramedics.
