Killing of princes spreads worry amongst Mpumalanga conventional leaders


The Mpumalanga Home of Conventional Leaders is baffled by the murders of two princes in a single week within the province and has referred to as for swift police motion to carry the culprits to ebook.

Prince Andries Mbangwa Mahlangu was shot 4 instances by two unknown males on Saturday night time on the council premises of the Ndzundza Tribal Authority, which he chaired. 

Earlier within the week, Prince Zwelithini Ray Dlamini was murdered, assassination-style, when he was shot 13 instances by unknown males who entered his house in Matsulu, exterior Mbombela, whereas he was having fun with a meal with buddies. 

Spokesperson for the Ndzundza Tribal Council, Koos Mahlangu, advised Sowetan they have been shocked by the killings of their princes.

“We’re actually shocked by these sorts of killings. Mbangwa had simply completed a gathering with the members of the council at 8pm and was sitting in his automotive listening to the information as at all times when he was killed,” Mahlangu mentioned.

Chair of the Mpumalanga Home of Conventional Leaders, Inkhosi Sandile Hhoyi Ngomane, advised Sowetan the murders have left conventional leaders within the space residing in worry.
