Man fatally shot at Morse Pink Line station

A 26-year-old man was fatally shot Tuesday night contained in the Morse Pink Line station, police stated. Nobody is in custody.

The sufferer was contained in the station at 1358 West Morse when a car pulled up outdoors and opened hearth on him, in response to CPD. One spherical struck the sufferer within the stomach, and he collapsed subsequent to the turnstiles.

An ambulance transported the sufferer to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, the place he was pronounced lifeless.

Chicago police arrived on the scene in a short time and briefly chased a black Infiniti with chrome trim and a sunroof that they noticed rushing from the scene. A CPD supervisor terminated the pursuit.

Investigators discovered about six shell casings on the scene. Space Three detectives are dealing with the case.
