McDonald’s armed car-jacking: Police seek for man


Police have launched video footage of a person threatening a McDonald’s drive-thru buyer at gunpoint final month, in a bid to search out the individual behind the car-jacking in Sydney’s south west.

A 32-year-old man was driving his pink Hyundai Getz into the Eagle Vale McDonald’s throughout the early hours of Sunday morning, December 20, when he was approached by a person armed with a handgun.

CCTV footage reveals the person — sporting a backwards cap and ski goggles that conceal his face — approaching the automobile about 1.30am, opening the entrance door and pointing his gun on the seated driver.

He then pressured the driving force away from the automobile earlier than getting into and driving it in the direction of Dolomite Place a couple of blocks away, in response to a NSW Police assertion.
