St-Laurent Mayor Alan DeSousa stated that previously, selections over the way forward for police stations had been made collaboratively.
“I’m shocked that the administration will not be listening to the native communities, native democracy, native councils and native residents,” he stated.

“There was no transparency on this subject,” she stated. “I’m afraid.”
However Rosannie Filato, the chief committee member liable for public safety, denied that the station merger units a precedent.
