Montreal will get $Three million funding enhance to help homeless teams

Danielle McCann, Quebec’s Minister of Well being and Social Companies, introduced a $Three-million funding enhance to help neighborhood organizations working with the homeless in Montreal.

This monetary help, a part of a federal-provincial program, will  be used to help neighborhood organizations serving the wants of the homeless within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de providers sociaux du Centre‑Sud‑de‑l’Île‑de-Montréal (CIUSSS) will see that the funding is distributed to neighborhood organizations working with the homeless in Montreal.

“The Montreal area has confronted main challenges in current months”, stated McCann. “Given the distinctive measures put in place to adapt providers to individuals experiencing homelessness, it’s important that the organizations that assist them have the required means to proceed their important actions.”
