New coronary heart for Ipswich as $250 million Tulmur Place opens


Ipswich may have a brand new metropolis coronary heart from Saturday with the opening of Tulmur Place in Nicholas Road, which opens out to the Bremer River.

Tulmur Place, the brand new civic plaza, is a part of the $250 million redevelopment of Nicholas Road, the place the previous Ipswich Mall has been redeveloped over the previous 4 years.

Markets and leisure to mark the opening of Tulmur Place start from 9am.

Tulmur is an Indigenous phrase for Ipswich, mayor Teresa Harding informed the Fassifern Guardian this week.
