No accidents after two-alarm fireplace at highrise in North York

Crews are working to clear smoke from a North York highrise following a two-alarm fireplace on Thursday afternoon.

Officers say it seems the hearth broke out on the balcony of a residential constructing on Sentinel Highway, within the space of Keele Avenue and Finch Avenue.

The fireplace impacted items on each the fourth and fifth ground, Toronto Hearth confirmed to CP24 on Thursday afternoon.

Firefighters have managed to extinguish the blaze and are presently working to ventilate the constructing.

No accidents have been reported.
