Northern Ontario faculties reopen to in-class studying as southern college students keep residence


Elementary college college students throughout northern Ontario can return to in-class studying this morning.

The northern portion of the province is allowed to return to high school buildings as positivity charges for COVID-19 are comparatively low.

The provincial authorities introduced on Thursday that faculties throughout southern Ontario, in the meantime, wouldn’t be returning to in-person lessons immediately as deliberate.

As an alternative, college students in southern Ontario will proceed attending lessons remotely till at the least Jan. 25.

To account for the change, Training Minister Stephen Lecce introduced Saturday that the record of important staff eligible for emergency little one care could be expanded.

It now contains RCMP officers, custodial and clerical training staff and postal workers.
