On 10.30pm on Monday, officers obtained data that two males strolling in Tyinira Road, Motherwell, have been on their technique to ship a firearm.
Police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu stated officers on patrol noticed the suspects carrying one thing wrapped in a blue blanket.
“As quickly because the members stopped their car, one of many males dropped the blanket and each started working in several instructions.
“A rifle with a scope was discovered contained in the blanket,” Naidu stated.
The rifle was reported stolen in Bethelsdorp in September 2006.
