Pedestrian dies after being struck by snow clearing truck in Laval

Laval’s snow-clearing operation on Friday led to the demise of a 69-year-old pedestrian within the Chomedey district.

The girl was hit by a snow-loading truck on 100th Ave., because the truck was turning onto St-Martin Blvd. A 911 name was made at 2:40 p.m., in keeping with Évelyne Boudreau of the Service de police de Laval. She was delivered to a hospital in important situation and declared lifeless by Sunday night.

The truck driver was handled for shock. An investigation is beneath means.
