Peel District Faculty Board delays begin of on-line college after hundreds of scholars switched to digital studying


Peel District Faculty Board is delaying the beginning of its on-line college after hundreds of scholars switched from in-person lessons to digital studying.

In a letter despatched to households on Saturday, the varsity board stated over 64,000 college students at the moment are enrolled in its on-line college, a rise of 10,000 within the final week.

“Attributable to this latest improve in on-line enrolment, we require further time to workers on-line lessons and reconfigure timetables to make sure an equitable and profitable begin for all workers and college students on-line,” the letter reads.

College students enrolled within the PDSB On-line Faculty have been supposed to attach with their lecturers on Sept. 11, and lessons have been scheduled to start on Monday.
