Police start manhunt for killers of bus driver in Imo | The Guardian Nigeria Information


The Commissioner of Police in Imo, Mr Rabiu Ladodo, has given assurance that the power will arrest and prosecute the killers of a bus driver within the state, Chinedu Ogoke.

The commissioner gave the peace of mind in an announcement made accessible to the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) in Owerri on Monday.

Ogoke was shot and killed by gunmen final week at a preferred “Malaysian market” in Obowo Native Authorities Space (LGA) of Imo on Oct. 9.

The gunmen stormed the “Malaysian market” situated in Umungwa, Obowo LGA and dispossed merchants of their belongings, together with cash.

The assailant shot and killed Ogoke as he tried to flee from the scene.

Ladodo mentioned he had directed for a full scale investigation into the circumstances surrounding the killing of the bus driver with a view to arresting the culprits.

The commissioner mentioned “no person has the proper to take one other individual’s life.
