Police ID man accused in hammer assault at Toronto subway station


A person has been arrested in reference to a hammer assault at Bloor subway station over the weekend.

At round 9 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to a name on the Bloor-Yonge subway station

It’s alleged man was in a TTC subway automobile when he attacked 4 individuals with a hammer.

Police mentioned the person was positioned and arrested within the subway station.

All 4 victims suffered non-life threatening accidents, police mentioned.

Toronto Paramedic Companies had initially mentioned five people suffered minor injuries.

On Tuesday, police recognized a suspect in reference to the incident.

Toronto resident Otgonbayer Dunsel, 49, has been charged with harmful weapons, two counts of aggravated assault, 4 counts of assault with a weapon and two counts of failing to adjust to probation.
