Montreal police are investigating what seems to have been a intentionally set hearth on the Journal de Montréal’s workplaces in Plateau-Mont-Royal.

Montreal police have been alerted to the small hearth exterior the tabloid’s constructing on Frontenac St. shortly after four a.m.

By the point officers arrived, firefighters had already extinguished the hearth, stated police spokesperson Véronique Comtois.

She stated an incendiary machine was discovered on the scene.

Nobody was injured and damages to the constructing have been minor, Comtois stated.

Nobody has been arrested.
