Police investigating hate crime after nooses discovered at development website on property of East York hospital


Toronto police say they’re now investigating a hate crime after nooses have been situated at an out of doors development website at an East York hospital earlier this month.

Police say the nooses have been found at a development website at Michael Garron Hospital, situated close to Coxwell and Mortimer avenues, on June 10.

Toronto police affirm that investigators with the hate crime unit and 55 Division are investigating the incident.

No arrests have been made and police haven’t offered any info on doable suspects.

Police say employees members on the hospital have been cooperating with the investigation.
