Police are asking for the general public’s assist to establish a pedestrian who was critically injured in a collision in Rexdale Tuesday evening.
Shortly after 7 p.m., officers responded to a name for a collision within the space of Finch and Kipling avenues.
A person was reportedly standing on the south curb when a 61-year-old man was driving east on Finch Avenue.
The pedestrian then walked onto the roadway and was struck, police mentioned.
He was taken to hospital with life-threatening accidents and has not but been recognized.
“Regardless of one of the best efforts of investigators, the pedestrian has not but been recognized and officers are interesting to the general public to assist establish him,” police mentioned in a information launch.
The pedestrian is described as in his late 30s to early 40s, with a brown complexion and medium construct. He was sporting a gold and brown winter jacket, a blue hoodie and black denims.
