A Perth lady who sneaked into WA from Victoria hidden in a truck has apologised for her actions however has refuted claims she hitched her approach into the state to keep away from paying for lodge quarantine.

Vander Sanden was initially sentenced in August by Justice of the Peace Andrew Matthews however her unique sentence was put aside by Supreme Courtroom Justice Jennifer Hill on Tuesday, who imposed a six-month community-based order with a requirement she completes 50 hours of group service as a substitute.
