A trainer who allegedly threw a water bottle at a pupil, injuring his head, has been positioned on suspension.
The suspension was confirmed by the North West division of training on Friday, in response to the incident at Geelhout Park Secondary Faculty final week Thursday.
“It’s alleged that after the meal break interval, pupils have been going again to their respective lessons when the educator allegedly threw a bottle of water on the head of a pupil,” mentioned division spokesperson Elias Malindi.
The pupil sustained a laceration on his head and was “taken to the principal’s workplace and subsequently to the clinic by the educator”, mentioned Malindi.
Division officers have been deployed to the varsity as quickly as they have been alerted concerning the incident.
