Teenager dies, three critically injured in Central West NSW smash

A teen has died and three others are critically injured after a single-vehicle accident within the state’s Central West on Sunday afternoon.

The kids have been driving in a Holden sedan alongside Darby Falls Street in the direction of Cowra, about 100 kilometres south-west of Bathurst.

Simply after 3pm the automotive left the highway, crashed right into a tree and rolled.

A 17-year-old male passenger died within the crash, with three surviving teenagers airlifted to hospitals in Sydney.

The 18-year-old male driver was taken to Liverpool Hospital, the 17-year-old feminine passenger was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital and a 19-year-old male passenger to Westmead Hospital.

A NSW Police spokeswoman mentioned the world remained a criminal offense scene on Sunday evening, with police nonetheless investigating he circumstances of the crash.

The highway has been closed with visitors diverted.
