A suspect shot two victims within the 2300 block of South Massachusetts Avenue Tuesday night time, ensuing within the loss of life of 1 sufferer and leaving the second critically injured. Officers responded and exchanged gunfire with the suspect, and the suspect died on the scene.
At 9:16 p.m., a caller reported listening to a shot fired close to 24th Avenue South and South Massachusetts Avenue. Further callers reported seeing a person firing a gun in the identical space. When officers arrived on scene they heard a number of gunshots. The suspect walked in direction of the officers, raised his firearm and fired at them.
