Vaughan man charged after bomb menace made towards Mississauga elementary college


Peel police have charged a 27-year-old man after a bomb menace was made towards a Mississauga elementary college on Friday.

Police responded to Brandon Gate Public College positioned close to Brandon Gate Drive and Keenan Crescent simply earlier than 9 a.m.

College officers obtained a name from an unknown man claiming bomb was within the constructing, police stated.

It prompted police to evacuate college students and workers from the varsity whereas they searched the constructing.

After finishing their investigation, police stated the varsity was deemed secure.

On Saturday, Vaughan resident Delano Gibson was arrested in relation to the incident.

He was charged with public mischief and false message. Gibson will seem in court docket in December.
