Wallabies and Melbourne Rebels star Matt Toomua introduced as Rugby Union Gamers’ Affiliation president


Melbourne Rebels and Wallabies playmaker Matt Toomua has changed former Waratahs hooker Damien Fitzpatrick because the president of the Rugby Union Gamers’ Affiliation.

Toomua, 30, stated it was a “nice privilege” to be his teammates’ major consultant for the gamers’ union.

“As somebody who has closely benefited from the work completed previously by former gamers and RUPA delegates, I’m very honoured to have this chance to help our gamers and the sport,” Toomua stated.

“We’re lucky to have some nice expertise in present and previous gamers, together with trade consultants guiding our journey. We’ll want all this expertise as we navigate our approach by these difficult occasions.”
