Girl dealing with greater than a dozen costs after string of fires in Little Italy


A lady accused of intentionally setting a string of fires in Little Italy early Sunday morning now faces greater than a dozen costs, Toronto police say.

In accordance with investigators, a number of fires have been set within the space of School and Shaw streets between midnight and a couple of a.m. on Sunday.

On Monday, police confirmed suspect had been arrested in reference to the case.

The accused, recognized by police as 42-year-old Carrie Ann Bursey, of Toronto, has been charged with 5 counts of arson/ hearth inflicting property harm, 4 counts of failing to adjust to probation, three counts of breaking and coming into, and tried breaking and coming into.

She is scheduled to seem in courtroom at Previous Metropolis Corridor as we speak.
